How To Use Microsoft Outlook In Apple Watch?
If you’re always checking your email for important business-related matters, we have some good news. Outlook is now available on Apple Watch.
Microsoft on Thursday launched its Outlook app on Apple’s wearable. It will send you what Microsoft calls “Focused Inbox Watch notifications,” so you never miss an important message, and can see what’s happening in your inbox right from the Glance screen. Just swipe up from the watch face and you’ll see any unread emails and your next calendar appointment.
With the app, you can browse and read full emails right from your wrist, and archive, delete, flag, or schedule messages for later. There’s also a set of pre-written Quick Replies, emojis, and voice dictation.
Besides that, Microsoft also made it easier to capture your ideas on the go with Wunderlist. A new feature called Quick Add on Wunderlist for Apple Watch lets you easily create to-do items and automatically add a Due Date and Reminder. Just open the app, Force Touch, say something like, “Call the new clients tomorrow at 10 a.m.,” and voila — the app will do all the work for you. Microsoft also redesigned Wunderlist’s Glance to show up to four to-dos on your agenda.
Outlook and Wunderlist for Apple Watch are free in the App Store.
Meanwhile, if you use Microsoft’s business social network Yammer, you’ll soon be able to get that on your Apple Watch as well. The upcoming Yammer watch app will notify you about announcements and updates to relevant conversations.
